About 2500 meters above the sea level. is artfully interspersed amongst rocks that spell out the geological history of the plateau through a myriad of marine fossils dated no less than 270 million years back.

We started Working on this land grants years ago, inspired by a new tourism concept which would do justice to the unique landscape and culture of the mountain, rather than lay the foundations over the fossil-filled bedrock. the hotel has been built around them, making them the primary attraction, alongside a spectacular view.

The flora of Oman, southern Arabia, is floristically rich with a high degree of endemism. About one-fourth of the total flora of the country is found in Al Jabal Al Akhdar range above 1500m in the Olive-Juniper woodlands.
